You've got questions, we've got answers.

Here are some questions that people want answered even before they visit First Parish for the first time. This list was compiled by Gila Jones, a member of the UU Church of South County, Mission Vieja, CA.

What should I(and my children) wear to church?
Members of our church wear anything from business attire to shorts and sandals, and anything in between.
Is there Sunday School/childcare during church?
Yes. Please see our events page for a schedule.
Are there bisexual, gay, lesbian and transgendered people at First Parish?
Yes, we are a Welcoming Congregation.
Are there people who believe(insert belief here)?
Here at First Parish, there are members who identify as Jewish, humanist, Taoist, Christian, pagan, atheist, monotheist, and "none of the above."
What goes on during worship services?
Worship services are held at 10:30 am from the second Sunday after Labor Day through the end of June. They are led by the minister and by members of the worship committee with occasional guest speakers. The major holy days of Christianity, Judiasm, and earth based religions are frequently observed. Guest artists regularly add to the services. The Choir sings once a month and is periodically joined by the Youth Choir.
